Judges Comments:

TBCTop 6 birds are magnificent budgerigars.

First is Cage I from C & E Rogers of New South Wales, big strong greygreen cock, good width across the shoulders and feather texture. Lovely face with great depth of mask, spots, width of cap and deep back skull.

Second is Cage B from R Kirby of Victoria, a strong hen with excellent feather texture, coupled with a lovely face. A very nice hen, lovely feather direction.

Third is Cage A from A & C Druery of New South Wales, Yellow face grey, with excellent modern-day features, good colour, strong shoulder but not as good in the head and mask as birds before him.

Fourth is Cage D from E & L Miller of South Queensland, a light green dilute cock, a really strong bird with a lovely face and good shoulder.

Cage P from D Poole of Tasmania was disqualified as 3 primary flights missing on one wing.
