Dilemma between the single factor birds having better balance and deportment than the double factor Golden Faces.
First (Rowe Brothers, Vic.) is a single factor hen, a good solid bird with plenty of power through the head, flecked but solid in all other aspects.
Second (Rowe Brothers, Vic.) is a cock, again a powerful bird, also flecked but lacked a bit of power when compared to the hen.
Third (Charlesworth Family, Tasmania) is a single factor cock, stylish bird but lacked the impact and face width of the two placed above it.Jim Fletcher & Errol Miller
Summation by Errol Miller.
The top eight are all very strong birds with the best variety birds being placed down due to lack of size.
First owned by Andrew Clifton (New South Wales) is a very strong outstanding bird.
Second owned by Rowe Brothers (Victoria) and third owned by Charlesworth Family (Tasmania) are very close in quality Second bird has better feather in the head area.
Fourth owned by John Carter (New South Wales) is very good in colour.
