Judges Comments:

Judged by Peter Thurn & Alistair Home

First (Kakoschke & Rice, Sth. Aust.) is the most complete bird in the class.  Initially he let himself down by not showing but eventually showed enough to win.  He has strong head features and a solid body.

Second (N Wheatley, West. Aust.) is a long bird with tremendous frontal but needed more substance.

Third (Sheppard & Flanagan, Victoria) is a similar style to the second with a deep mask but not enough facial widthAlan Rowe & Neale Love.

Summation by Alan Rowe.

Wonderful class of birds which is impressive right to the end.  One of the better classes to judge.

First owned by Wright Family (South Queensland) is an magnificent big bird with a really nice top end.  This is a world class budgerigar.

Second owned by Kakoschke & Rice (South Australia) was very unlucky to meet up with the winner.  It is a nice long, clean, outstanding bird that showed well

Third owned by David Kelleher (New South Wales) has excellent cap and face feather but lacking the quality of the first two birds but still a top bird.

Fourth owned by L Richardson (Victoria) has a nice shape, solid in body and again a quality bird in a top class of Greygreens.
