This was a very good class of birds.

First owned by Jeff Leong (Victoria) is a big, bold, strong bird with a nice lovely round face and head feather.   Full body and excellent colourA deep coloured budgerigar.

Second (Kakoschke & Rice (Sth. Aust) also a very strong bird but just a little shorter than first.  Again a lovely colour.Third (P MacElroy, Qld North & Central) and fourth (Mark Hawke, NSW) are two very strong hens with very real presence and lively energetic birds - probably proving that show condition is the same as breeding conditionowned by Jeff Leong (Victoria) A lovely big bird, well coloured but not as strong in face as the winner.

Third owned by Jeff Leong (Victoria) is a beautifully headed bird, deep coloured, an excellent bird but likes to sit with his tail across the perch.  This bird was showing three toes forward and twisted one of the toes upwards most of the time and was penalised accordingly.

Fourth owned by Henry George (South Queensland) is a very strong coloured bird but played up too much to go any further.

Fifth owned by Paul Muir (New South Wales) is very even in quality.
