Judges Comments:

Judged by Malcolm Taylor & Alistair Home

First (Barbara Kelly, Sth. Qld) A wonderful powerful hen with lots of style, power and very good feather condition. She speaks for herself as to overall quality. Went into first place and never challenged.

Second (J Carter, NSW) is a very stylish bird with good feathering, lots of swank and good head qualities.

Third (Brian Walters, NSW) little down in quality than the two placed above it but still a very nice well rounded bird with plenty to recommend it.Errol Miller and Jim Fletcher

We thought we must have been judging the hens class as the top four placings are hens.  This was a very strong class of Spangle AOSV

First owned by J Matthews (New South Wales) is a magnificent large Greygreen Cinnamon Spangle hen who is big and bold and showed to her potential.

Second owned by S & C Norris (South Australia) is a Grey Cinnamon Spangle hen with exceptional head feather, a little long in the flights, super strong quality and unlucky to meet the winner on the day.

Third owned by Brett & Danny Card (South Queensland) is a long grey cinnamon spangle hen of very good quality but did not show well.  It played up quite a bit.

Fourth owned by Bruce Schuster (Q’land North & Central) a Greygreen Cinnamon hen which is a nice long bird, well conditioned and showed well.
