Judges Comments:

  • Very nice variety birds throughout this class.  The top line is displaying size and substance with good variety characteristics.
  • First is a Light Green cock which is big and strong with good contrast with the yellow in the wing extending down to the flights.  This bird also showed very well.
  • This bird has excellent length in body, nice width of head.
  • Second place is a Dark Factor Hen again with lovely contrast between the body and wing. Shows well and again is a strong bird. Super deportment with excellent contrast between wing and body colour.  Super variety bird but not quite as big as the winner.
  • Third place is a Dark Green cock and has the best feather and nice clear flights and good contrast and size but not quite as good in the deportment area.  .  He doesn’t lift cap so hard to judge his length of feather.
  • Fourth is a Light Green cock and good variety bird with nice head feathers but missing a couple of inner flights and is a little ruffled around the tail.
  • Fifth is another nice bird but a little dark in the flight feathers.  Good size.
  • Top shelf are all nice birds but there is a vast difference between the winners and the birds at the end of the class.
