Judges Comments:

We have been blessed today with some beautiful birds and the hens class is no exception.

First owned by Gary & Helen Hibberd from South Queensland is a Dark Green powerful hen.  She is a big bird with good deportment, excellent colour and showed to potential.  She is a nice browy, outstanding hen.

Second owned by Mick & Debbie Gearing from Western Australia is a big Cinnamon Light Green with excellent outline and condition but lacked a bit of feather in the head compared to the winner, but still a very powerful hen.

Third owned by Ian Hunter from Victoria is another large powerful hen with good colour, good active feathers which she blew throughout.  Unfortunately, she is long flighted and slightly flecked.

Fourth owned by Holmes Family from South Australia is a browy Greygreen hen that could have placed higher but for her flecking.  She has a lovely brow and is another good hen.

Fifth owned by Roy Blair from Tasmania is a Cinnamon Spangle Grey with nice lift and colour, very good depth of mask with bullseye spots.
