Judges Comments:

Challenging class, Tough to find a lot of true Black eye yellows, it’s a tough variety, congratulation to all the exhibitors we can see where you are trying to improve it as you are trying to combine variety and type.

First is Cage D from G Russell of South Queensland, big style hen, strong shouldered, shot to first as it has better colour and variety than all other birds.

Second is Cage O from J Guinane of North & Central Queensland, lovely top end with good colour but not as strong in body.

Third is Cage F from R & S Ogden of North & Central Queensland, another lovely young hen, solid size, wing carriage let her down a bit, is good show shape but not all the time.

Fourth is Cage Q from R Slade of Victoria, probably the best variety and colour, but down on facial features type and body strength.

Fifth in Cage C from R & S Ogden of North & Central Queensland, lovely top end but variety and colour let it down.

Cage G DQ missing too many flights.

Cage P is a dilute.
