Judges Comments:

  • The first three birds are good budgerigars and excellent Crests.
  • The first is a Cinnamon Sky  hen and is an excellent budgerigar with good length and solid through the body and shoulder.
  • The second bird which is a  Dark Green Cock was in first place for quite some time but we decided to swap them over.  He has a super mask and spot, good outline but a little short but still an excellent crest.
  • Third is a Dominant Pied Light Green Cock is a good crest with reasonable length and showed well.
  • Fourth is a Dominant Pied Opaline Cobalt cock and is a good strong bird with length and shoulder but a multi crest.
  • Fourth and fifth placings have multiple crests and were penalized.  Fourth bird does not look up due to the crest being in his eyes.
