Judges Comments:

  • This was the best class we have judged so far.  Top quality even on the bottom row.
  • The first bird is a standout.  Lovely face and mask and if you were going to be negative at all, maybe lacks a bit in the body.  Has excellent blow and width of head.
  • Second is a nice solid bird.  Has width of shoulder and head.  Has a tendency to fall away if rested for a while and needed the judges presence to show.
  • Third has a lovely top skull but is down one spot. It is a similar structed bird to second again with width of feather.  Preparation and condition saw this bird placed third.
  • Fourth is a nice powerful bird but a little loose in feather.
  • Overall a strong class for about the first fifteen placings and was a pleasure to judge.
