Judged by Alistair Home & Scott Eriksen
First (Anlezark & Bohringer, NSW) powerful bird, good solid colour, good depth of mask, good directional feather, all round a good solid bird. Unfortunately he has a tendency to put his third toe forward but when you move him, he brings it back.
Second (M Paoli, Victoria). It was close between first and second but this bird lacks a little in deportment compared to the first but still has good depth in colour.
Third (Dennis Lomman, Sth. Aust.) Lacks a little in head quality of first two but has good shoulder and colour.
Cage A (Collie Boys, Western Aust.) was disqualified due to it being a Cobalt rather than a Violet.
