Judges Comments:

  • The first bird is a very nice budgerigar. An Opaline showing lovely wide shoulder, face, mask and head.  A little shorter than the second bird but has much stronger features.
  • Second is another Opaline which is a very long bird but not as wise through the face as the first and has a tendency to drop its wings a little but still a good variety.
  • Third is another Opaline and has very good deportment, colour and face.  Has  a really excellent cap with good feather but is missing a few feathers in his head which detracted from his overall appearance.
  • Fourth is another Opaline with good colour, length and width  but is a little short in the tail and it is bent.
  • Next six birds are pretty even with good colour and variety but just a bit smaller than the winners.
  • Overall a nice class of Lacewings.
