2015 Judges Comments - Class 27 - HENS

Judges Comments:

First bred by Ray & German (Victoria)

Second bred by Peter Thurn (Victoria)

Third bred by Henry George)

Comments:  The top ten placings were all lovely powerful hens with good depth.

First is a Cinnamon Grey hen which is a strong powerful bird with nice cap and mask.  A really lovely bird.

Second is a Greygreen which is smaller than the first hen but still has strength in the face mask and shoulder.

Third is a Light Green Dominant Pied and again another strong big hen with good a good deep mask.

Class was a mixed bag with different features but overall a quality class.  The lesser placing lacked overall power and quality of the top birds.

Cage F bred by Wally Capper from New South Wales appeared to be unwell and was removed from the bench.
