Judges Comments:

Judged by Gerd Bleicher & Kevin O’Callaghan

First owned by Mark Hawke (NSW) is a normal Greygreen which is a power hen, with good length, top end and balance.  Lovely mask and spots, a super hen and a very worthy winner.

Second owned by Craig Barnett (NSW) is a Light Green, well proportioned in top condition.  Good shape, lovely face, impressive.

Third owned by Jupp & Scheerer (NSW) Normal Grey, strong hen, good shape and good feather direction in face, deep mask and large spots.  Clean wings but slightly flecked.

Fourth owned by L Richardson (Vic) Light Green, good stance, balance and well proportioned but not coming up to the one before.

Closing Remarks by Gerd Bleicher

On behalf of the judges, Gerd thanked the organisers for the invitation to judge.  It is a great pleasure and honour to attend.

The Australian National Show is unique in the world.

I first attended in Coffs Harbour in 2004 and I come as often as I can.  This is my fifth National.  We have to remember we all have the same hobby world wide which makes us all friend.
