Judges Comments:

Maarten Heylan commented that in the last five years in Belgium he never saw a Fallow so to see this many is credit to the breeders and the ANBC for the format of the show which encourages the lesser varieties.

First owned by Peter Thurn from Victoria is a Violet Fallow cock who selected himself from the start.  He showed beautifully and has good stance and markings and modern features.

Second owned by Alan Rowe from Victoria is an Opaline cock who is not far behind the first as in brow and head qualities but did not show as well.  Lovely modern features but never showed to full potential.

Third owned by Russell & Cheryl Ogden from North & Central Queensland is about five points behind the first two placings.  It is still a lovely bird with quality especially in the depth of markings and colour.

Fourth owned by Russell & Cheryl Ogden from North & Central Queensland is a lovely hen showing lovely feather direction and markings. Longer feather would have enhanced positioning.

Fifth owned by Kelwyn Kakoschke from South Australia is again a good variety but not as long.
