Judges Comments:

  • A wonderful class which was great to judge.
  • First is a Light Green cock which is a super bird with magnificent feather, lovely mask and spots with a super cap and feather.  Good length and good width and depth of mask – an easy winner.
  • Second is a Light Green hen, big and strong body, super width of shoulder, magnificent shaper, good directional feather, great deportment.  Not the length of feather as the cock birds but lovely directional feather.
  • Third and fourth are very close.  Third is a Light Green Cock which has lovely direction of feather and is a long bird and when he pushes his feathers out he is really nice and looks super when blowing.
  • Fourth is another Light Green cock and  has excellent length of body and good feather length    more upright than third, and pushers his feathers up higher but has not got the direction of feather as the third.  He also has slightly ruffled feathers on the chest which spoilt his outline.
  • After that they dropped away a little with length etc.  Bird in cage L has lovely feather but was penalized heavily for the missing flight feathers.
  • A very strong class down to eleventh placing.
